In 1994, we took our passion for ice cream to the next level, crafting our own hard ice cream using fresh milk from local farms. The result? By 2018, we knew it was time to share our ice cream with even more people, so we launched our wholesale division, expanding production to bring Gilligan’s Ice Cream to new markets. As we grew, we partnered with scoop shops, restaurants, farm stands, Taste NY stores, and private retailers, all while continuously innovating new flavors. Our creativity took us even further when we started experimenting with craft beer, wine, cider, and spirits, developing flavors infused with alcohol. To make this vision a reality, we worked directly with lawmakers in Albany to modify existing laws, allowing businesses like ours to sell alcohol-infused ice cream without requiring a liquor license.
